Alexander Wynen (a.k.a. DJ ALEX) is the founder and motor behind MOOOV Event Services and author of ‘Finding The Perfect Wedding DJ‘.
Alexander has a deeply rooted love for music and is passionate about sharing this with his audience. “It’s all about including everyone in the music and create those wonderful, memorable moments on the dance floor”. He has mastered the ability to read the ‘room’ and create an flow engaging music throughout the night.
Alexander has performed at many high-profile and VIP events, society parties and weddings in Spain and beyond. Since 2015, Alex has been the resident DJ at the Marbella 4 Days Walking, the Andalusian Dutch Open and the Porton Jazz Festival, where he performed the after-party for artists and bands like Myles Sanko and Incognito.
Alexander was born into a musical family near Amsterdam and has been immersed in music from day one. At family gatherings, aunts and uncles played the piano, violin and flute while the rest of the family sang multiple voices.
From the age of eight Alexander studied classical guitar and as a teenager he played the electric bass in a band (without much success).
A few years later, as the owner of a restaurant and bar, he started playing 7 inch vinyls on two record players behind the bar. Here he discovered the amazing effects of music on guests and how it affected the atmosphere during the evening. It made him addicted to DJing — although he did not know at the time that this was what he was doing — and it has never left him since.
From that moment on, Alexander was quickly recognized for his qualities as an all-round DJ by the best DJ companies in the Netherlands and was booked every year for more than 100 events.
When he moved to Spain in 2015, he founded SKYFLY Spain, a branch of SKYFLY, building on the successes of SKYFLY, the market leader in the Netherlands.
As the business grew beyond the original SKYFLY remit, it became clear that a rebranding was required. To encompass the multitude of services, demanded in the Costa del Sol, SKYFLY Spain became MOOOV Event Services.
In addition to DJing and managing MOOOV Event Services, Alexander is a father of three adult children and lives with his wife Anne in a small village near Málaga.
